The Workflow Flow

Your product catalog is loaded and paced. A small script builds the list of product URLs and metadata, then Split In Batches processes them one at a time so you don’t spike requests and get throttled.

Step-by-Step Implementation Guide

Step 1: Configure the Webhook Trigger

Set up the inbound webhook that starts the workflow when price data is posted.

  1. Add and open Incoming Price Webhook.
  2. Set HTTP Method to POST.
  3. Set Path to product-price-monitor.
  4. Save the node and copy the test URL for later use.

Use the Test URL during setup and switch to the Production URL when you activate the workflow.

  2. Confirm the User Prompt is: Extract the product title as "name", numeric price as "price", currency as "currency", and availability text as "availability". Respond as JSON.

Step 4: Merge History, Enrich Records, and Store Data

  2. Open Merge Current and History and set Mode to mergeByIndex.

  1. Use the Incoming Price Webhook test URL to send a sample POST request.

  3. Verify new rows are inserted in Insert Database Rows and alerts are sent from Dispatch Pushover Notice when thresholds are exceeded.
