Step 1: Configure the Schedule Trigger

This workflow starts on a weekly schedule to review territory performance.

  1. Add the Scheduled Territory Review node as your trigger.
  2. Set the schedule rule to weekly with Trigger At Day set to 1 and Trigger At Hour set to 9.
  3. Connect Scheduled Territory Review to Configure Request Inputs.

Step 2: Connect Google Sheets

Store performance data is appended into a Google Sheet after parsing.

  1. Open Append Regional Sheet and select your Google Sheet document.
  2. Set Operation to append.
  3. Set Document to [YOUR_ID] and Sheet Name to Sheet1 (gid 0).

  1. In Configure Request Inputs, set the url value to example.com (replace with your real target URL).

  3. Ensure Execute Data Scraper uses LLM Prompt Orchestrator as its language model. Credential Required: Connect your openAiApi credentials in LLM Prompt Orchestrator.
  4. Confirm MCP Scrape Utility is attached to Execute Data Scraper as the tool with Tool Name set to scrape_as_markdown and Tool Parameters set to {{ /*n8n-auto-generated-fromAI-override*/ $fromAI('Tool_Parameters', ``, 'json') }}.
  5. Credential Required: Connect your mcpClientApi credentials in MCP Scrape Utility. This is a tool sub-node, so credentials are managed on the tool node itself.
  6. Confirm Structured Output Parser feeds into Auto Repair Parser, then into Execute Data Scraper to enforce the JSON schema example.
  7. Ensure OpenAI Chat Engine is connected as the language model for Auto Repair Parser. Credential Required: Connect your openAiApi credentials in OpenAI Chat Engine.

Step 4: Configure Output and Notifications

Parsed data is expanded into individual items, appended to the sheet, and an email is sent after each run.

  1. In Expand Store Records, keep the provided JavaScript to split the output array into individual items.
  2. Connect Expand Store Records to Append Regional Sheet.
  3. In Dispatch Update Email, set Send To to [YOUR_EMAIL], Subject to Regional Sales data has updated, and Message to =Hello Team!\n\nThe Regional sales data has updated in the google sheets. So go and check it out fast.\n\nRegards,\nYour Name.
  4. Credential Required: Connect your gmailOAuth2 credentials in Dispatch Update Email.
  5. Execute Data Scraper outputs to both Expand Store Records and Dispatch Update Email in parallel. Verify both connections are active.

Step 5: Test and Activate Your Workflow
